“GPNi’s CISSN course gave me more than a certification. It gave me confidence, direction, and a global professional network in sports nutrition.”

Ankit Suklecha, CISSN, Personal trainer and nutritionist

Before enrolling in the CISSN course with the Global Performance Nutrition Institute (GPNi), I already had an academic background in nutrition and health education, exercise medicine, and sports psychology. These studies gave me a strong foundation, but I wanted to go further. I wanted to understand sports nutrition at a deeper level, not only from a theoretical perspective, but also in a way that could be applied confidently with athletes, fitness professionals, and clients in real-world settings.

My CISSN journey with GPNi became one of the most meaningful experiences in my professional development. The course helped me connect the science of nutrition with practical performance outcomes. I gained a deeper understanding of macronutrient timing, supplementation strategies, recovery, performance optimization, and evidence-based decision-making. More importantly, I learned how to critically evaluate research and translate scientific knowledge into practical recommendations that can truly support an athlete’s goals.

One of the most valuable parts of the course was the quality of teaching and guidance. I am especially grateful to Dr. Trisha, Dr. Jose, and Dr. Rodger for sharing their expertise and helping make complex topics easier to understand. Their teaching not only strengthened my knowledge, but also inspired me to keep pursuing excellence in the field of sports nutrition. I also appreciated Drew’s support throughout the course whenever assistance was needed, which made the learning experience smoother and more encouraging.

Completing the CISSN certification through GPNi has had a strong impact on my career. It has strengthened my credibility as an international sports nutrition professional and helped me feel more confident when working with clients. I am now better equipped to design evidence-based nutrition programs, explain my recommendations clearly, and support athletes and fitness enthusiasts with a stronger scientific foundation.

Today, I actively apply what I learned through GPNi in my professional practice. I work with clients to improve their performance, health, and overall nutrition strategies. I also collaborate with fitness professionals and athletes, while continuing to expand my own knowledge through further education and experience. The course has encouraged me to keep growing, not only as a practitioner, but also as a lifelong learner in the field of performance nutrition.

Beyond the academic and professional value, GPNi also gave me the opportunity to connect with people from the same industry around the world. This international network has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey. I am still in touch with many of my batchmates, and they continue to inspire me with their passion, knowledge, and dedication. Being part of a global community of sports nutrition professionals has made the experience even more meaningful.

Looking back, my CISSN journey with GPNi was more than just completing a course or earning a certification. It was a turning point in my professional growth. It deepened my passion for sports nutrition, strengthened my confidence, and opened new possibilities for my career. I am grateful for the knowledge, mentorship, and connections I gained through GPNi, and I see this milestone as the beginning of an exciting path ahead.
